Audrey left for New York to become a sought after bridal designer. Now she has depleted her inheritance and is almost on the brink of disaster. That is unless she bags that one great celebrity client. Her childhood friend’s wedding takes her to Atlanta and the Tanglewood Inn, where she meets a whole lot of interesting people. Will this trip change her life?
‘ Always the Designer, Never the Bride’ turned out to be so much more than my expectations. The title suggested a typical ‘always bridesmaid’ or ’27 dresses’ type theme. You will be happy to know there is so much more.
If you like a story about friendships that last a lifetime, benevolent rich characters happy to bestow favors on someone down on their luck, a charming luxurious inn where your troubles seem trivial, loyal helpers who stick on even when there’s no paycheck, lovable bad boys who are not quite ready to park their bike, and so on and so forth, this book’s for you. All the characters come alive and by the end of the book, you feel like you’ve known them forever. You smile, feel affronted, shed some tears, and experience almost every emotion that the lead character goes through.
Set in Atlanta, there is a lot of southern charm here with a lot of LOL moments. I wholeheartedly vote for this book and am looking forward to reading more from this series.
